Following a disappointing loss in the elimination racing at last year's National Finals, our team studied the broadcast to watch our races. We noticed that in the race we were eliminated, the starting blocks weren't lined up straight; this caused our car to fishtail during the entire launch phase, which wasted a significant amount of energy. To ensure we could prevent this issue, we developed an Alignment Device that would keep the starting block pointed straight down the track. This small, but useful innovation is one of the many improved components of our 2026 National Finals entry.
